Canvas view options


 

The canvas is the largest area of the PhotoKey interface, where your images are displayed while you work on them.

At the top right of the canvas is a toolbar that allows you to control how your images are displayed. It contains three menus.

Channel Menu: You can view your image in Full Color, or switch to Foreground Alpha view, to see the transparency data that is created by your key settings.
Downsample Menu: sets the level at which your image while be sampled while calculating previews during adjustments. Quarter Sample is faster, while Half Sample gives a higher quality. The default setting can be adjusted in Options.
Zoom Menu: sets the zoom level of your canvas.There are a variety of preset zoom levels to choose from, and Scale To Fit will make your image as large as possible within the available canvas area. You can also adjust the zoom level with the scroll wheel of your mouse, by positioning the cursor over the canvas image and scrolling the wheel. The canvas can be moved by holding the space bar and dragging.

Batch Controls Palette

At the bottom right of the canvas are  navigation controls that let you scroll through your images without having to always be in the Import toolset.

Use the up and down arrows to move through your lists of imported foreground or background images. Double-click the name of any image to rename it.

You can also toggle the Unique and Batch status for the currently displayed image, or turn foreground and background layers on or off.
